I want to get these parts for my earphones since they've fallen off and disappeared multiple times. $10.68 is daylight robbery for 10 small pieces of plastic. Are there any alternatives to these? I'm tempted to chuck some foam ear pads on instead.

$1 each? I'm not sure what you'd expect to pay. They are "10 small pieces of plastic" which are made specifically to fit that application.
