They've been this price for a few weeks now.

Yeah, but they were supposed to end on Monday (yesterday), at least here.

but they didn't, it has been extended. It's the same deal…

          Oh, fair enough then.

Either way, if I'm going to KFC, I'm just using that survey on the back of the receipt to get a large chips for free anyways. It's even more fun if you just write five random numbers on the thing and don't do the survey.

        • @TheDukeOfNukem: you know, I've tried putting random numbers in and it didn't work :( Tried a couple of times too

        • @ippy: True true. I frequent Chirnside Park and Eastland the most and they take any number we write. However, this holds true for all other stores we've tried here and there, except Box Hill. Weirdly they didn't take it, and we had to do it legit every time we've been in there, so yeah, I should have prefaced my original comment with such a warning.

        • If you go into a store now and ask for a regular chips it will NOT be $3. Like most deal's you can get them a week after they finish in stores on the app.

The post needs to be edited. The title should say something along the lines of "KFC $1 Regular Chips (KFC Xpress App Restaurants Only)"

I got a push notification this morning stating the offer is still on in the app only. No mention of expiry. Was gonna post it but got beaten to it (usually the way on OzB)

    • I got a push notification this morning stating the offer is still on in the app only.

I saw the $1 posters still outside the store yesterday evening when I drove by…

      • +1

Why do you always get downvoted on everything I see you pop up on? Am I just seeing the odd one lately or is there a hidden OzB backstory about it or something? Some guy mentioned you the other day negatively and whatnot and I'm curious.

Edit: I'm aware it's off topic. I can't say it really bothers me, worst case I get kicked off the site and just browse anonymously anyways.

        • jv said it loves negs

      • I hate them with their posters. When they had the Tuesday 9 for $9.99 deal, they would leave the posters up all week until Monday, then take them down. Thanks KFC!

        • +1

If they still have the posters up and don't honour the deal, just take a picture of it at report it to the ACCC.

It'll take only a couple of minutes of your time, but it will takes hours for them to go through all the paperwork…

        • +1

I know it's dumb, but we get told when to change over Promotions, I.e. on the start of each period (Tuesday) We can't take down old posters/banners because we have nothing to replace them with.

        • @jv: They take the posters the day before the deal ends.

    • Its 1 week for expiry of this offer.

  • Is there a list of KFC xpress app stores?

    • There isn't unfortunately. You have to use the app's store locator to find stores that accept app orders. Ones that do have red dots. Grey dots mean they don't.

  • None in Brisbane

    • KFC are not franchised in Brisbane, Also why different vouchers apply to QLD

      • It's been noted in another deal that QLD doesn't have any Xpress restaurants yet because QLD KFC's use a different register (POS) system to the rest of Australia. Apparently it's coming to QLD soon and its undergoing development and testing at the moment.

        • KFC Qld use a register system by TaskRetail. Yum Stores use a register system by NCR. Notice on the app what it says when you load it "Powered by NCR" The app is designed by the register system in Yum Stores, despite this the devlopers I beleive have worked together to integrate the qld stores into a different software, I saw a notice saying they would be starting to public test KFC Xpress in brisbane next month

      • Well technically they are franchised, but all by the same company. CollinsFG, who own All stores in QLD/WA/NT and some stores in NSW/VIC

        • -1

Thats not a franchise there company owned and opererated stores

        • +1

          @Regie69:
Company Owned would be owned by Yum! International who have exclusive rights over the brand.

        • @oscinator1988: Incorrect Yum is the parent company Worldwide
Collins Foods operates from Brisbane, Queensland.

We operate 178 KFC and 21 Sizzler company owned restaurants in Australia. In addition, the Company has 65 franchised Sizzler restaurants around Asia. The Company also owns Snag Stand which has 5 company owned outlets and 1 franchise outlet.

  • 24 nuggets for $10 only started recently here in ACT.

  • so do you reckon the vouchers are done for now that we have the app ?

    • No vouchers are still avaiable. Due to not all stores having the app. And i would say they would lose customers that are tech savy
