Bug When Switching between Deal Categories

Hi Mods,

Lately when I have switched between deal categories I've come up with a 404 error.

Say I'm in computing deals category , and I go to the drop down menu deals and hit electrical and electronics, it'll pop up with a 404 error.

The web address it sends me to has an extra "cat" in it, i.e. the address of the electronics section should be https://www.ozbargain.com.au/cat/electrical-electronics, but if I go to it the way I described it's actually https://www.ozbargain.com.au/cat/cat/electrical-electronics

Does it for some of the other categories too.

I'm struggling to replicate the error, seems to be switching categories fine.

Is that on the desktop or mobile site? Do you remember when you started seeing it?

Desktop, on opera browser if that helps.

I've run into it a couple of times this week… not sure exactly when i first started seeing it

There was a bug that got pushed up on 9 August but was fixed within two hours (7am-9am). Your browser might be caching the old menu. Try a reload I guess?
