Hong Kong - mid-December or mid-January?

Hi,

Am looking to take my wife and 18yo stepson to Hong Kong in mid-December or mid-January for about 8 days - which of these times would be best to go?

Thanks,

  • It will be cold at that time of the year.

  • New Year is 28th of Jan in 2017 so mid Jan might not be a good idea.

As already mention cold! If anything go early Dec the lastest.

  • Oh come on…Hong Kong winter is not 'cold'…average is mid to low teens, only drops below 10'C for a day or so during 'cold snap'. It is NOT cold for a 18 year old boy from Australia!

  • There might be better sales in Jan than in Dec if you're into shopping.

  • none of them get bargain ticket prize, standard return prize should be A$500 to A$700, should go after 07/Oct - 23/Dec, don't expect shopping cheaper then aus, good shopping location move to japan and America now.

  • Hi guys,

Thanks so much - we only have a short window open between Year 11 ending and year 12 starting. For myself, I would choose another time but… Not so much shopping, more sight-seeing.

I think it looks like mid-December for us, back just before Xmas.
