Smith's Original Chips $5 Per Carton (12x 170g) @ Spudshed [WA]

380

I saw the following special while I was at Spudshed Mandurah:

Smith's Chips $5 per carton (15 x 45g)

When I checked the stock they were actually 12 x 170g cartons which is very cheap (they are 2 for $5 usually at Coles or Woolworth when on special). Bought the last stock and was told more would be available tomorrow. The special is available in all stores however not sure if all of them are offering 170g cartons.

EDIT: product expiry date is 30 OCT 2016

I don't know what a 24 hour spud shed is but I'm pretty sure we need one in Sydney.

just a multi store potato shop selling 4kg bags of potatoes for $1.99 along with various other cheap goods

      • But 24 hour? Last I heard WA didn't have Sunday trading yet? Seems very cheap anyway.

        • Yes, certain stores are open 24 hours(Innaloo, Morley, Kelmscott and Jandakot).
Dont know how he was able bypass the trading laws.
And shops are open til 5pm on sundays

        • @mmd: can't have more than 4 stores open 24hours, and they can open the other stores up until 11:30pm. just need to apply for the certificates.

        • They've had Sunday trading for like 7 years…still regulated though.

        • @mmd:
Tony Galati gives his family "ownership" of each store and under x amount of employees he can do 24hour opening times

Don't ever envy WAshopping hours. Even after reform. Today, Woolies and Coles were open 11-5.

      • yeh heaven help the state that isnt 100% consumed with shopping….whatever will the families do

          Lol. WA = Wait Awhile.

So glad I ditched that shithole.

While you may like to feel superior, you do realise finding Sunday a more convenient day to shop than a Thursday doesn't make you "shopping obsessed"?

      • I live in Victoria now. I LOVE how I can go to Woolies drunk off my ass on the way home from the pub at 2350 and get cheap Gatorade and some eggs and toast for my inevitable hangover. Or at 0600 after nightshift with supplies for work that night. No need to drag my arse out of bed and return to the shops, or pay extortionate servo prices.

WA doesn't know what it's missing.

      • But the cows are the big losers

      • I've got mixed feelings about Tony. I love the rebel in him. But if he signs a deal, he should stick to that deal.

    wow, cheap as chips!!!

  • Saw the cartons of Red Rock Deli Sweet Potato chips going for $5 as well at Innaloo yesterday. Garlic and thyme flavouring from memory.

  • I could only find boxes of the smaller size packets for $5 at innaloo
