Got a commbank credit card in June, and now I just got approved for a way higher line of credit by ANZ, so I'm going to cancel the first credit card. Is it possible to get a refund of the annual fee as I only used it for less than 2 months?

Doubt if you've used it for 2 months
I got mine refunded within a week when they started charging me a fee (I'm sure it was due a cooling off period)
What did Commbank say when you asked? Surely they are the best people to ask, instead of people on ozbargain guessing.
If you have used it within those 2 months, then i would have to say its highly unlikely but you could chance your arm.
If you have not used it within those 2 months (includes any ancillary benefits) then you could get your annual fee refunded usually. (discretion of who you speak to and how polite you are).
