ALDI Electric Oven, Gas Cooktop and Rangehood

Aldi had oven, cooktop and rangehood on special last week - anyone bought/used these, how do you rate the quality etc.? Is it worth buying from Aldi?

I liked the look of the gas cook top but I wasn't sure if it would fit my granite bench top. If it needed a bigger hole how do you cut that? The oven would have been a drop in fit.

  My old cooktop is also smaller in size than the new Aldi one.
  I am hoping to get a handyman to cut the bench little bit, my benchtop is old style, not granite so should be ok.

I am terribly disappointed and terribly annoyed with a black series oven I recently purchased. The brand new oven which I purchased and installed was deemed faulty and cannot be repaired or replaced. I am extremely annoyed that I've wasted $150 getting a electrician out to install the oven at my own expense only to find out it's faulty. Only after voicing my dissatisfaction that the service guy agreed to disconnect the oven for me so I could take me back to the store myself. Now I have to go and source another oven and waste another $150 on another install due to no fault of my own. I am definitely not pleased and will be warning my friends about such a purchase. I am terribly disgusted and disappointed as a loyal Aldi shopper that this has occurred and that you do not test your big appliances before sending them to your store or keep a supply for replacement.
