Hi all,

I rarely post here on ozbargain, but I check out the deals almost daily.

I created a site this week which allows you to search for something in a bunch of sites by entering your search term once and clicking once, which opens each site in a tab.

Tsearch.tsimop.com

Let me know what you think and if I should add any other sites or categories.

For historical purposes, here is the list on 17/8/16:

    Bookmarked. Might you one day make it addable to the Firefox Search bar?

      I would like to, but from what I can tell, the way it works at the moment (javascript with no server-side processing) isn't compatible with the way the Firefox Search bar works (appends text to url). I'll keep it in mind if/when I get time to develop it further.

      I'm an Electrical Engineer, not a Web Developer, so somebody else might know how to do this easily. For me, I'd be googling every step of the way and learning as I go.

        Thank you. As for Chinese shopping, you might consider adding DD4 if possible.

          Yeah, I had considered it, but unfortunately dd4 isn't as straightforward as all the others. What threw me off was the form_token in the url.
          Most sites have a fairly basic search string, i.e. google.com.au/?ion=1&espv=2#q=search%20term
          The dd4 site has that, plus this token. If I exclude the token, I just get an error.

          @tsimop: Fair enough. Good luck with the product. It is quite useful. Keep us updated.

          @PJC:
          DD4 seems to work now. Tsearch update coming soon.

          @tsimop: That's good news. Merry Christmas.

    Doesn't work in Chrome on my Android. It only opens one window.

      It didn't work on mine the first time either (Chrome on Android on Sony Xperia Z3), but then after I closed the first popup, it gave me the option to "allow popups from this site".
      Now it works.
