Replacement Battery for Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro Prime

Anyone know where I can source a replacement battery locally for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro Prime?

My friend stuffed theirs after it froze by trying to remove the battery and ended up breaking the ribbon between the battery and the MB.

They ordered one on eBay about 6 weeks ago and it never arrived.

Is aliexpress the only other option? Does anyone know someone domestically that sells them?

You might be able to get one of those mini ribbon cables at a computer parts store.

I haven't looked inside mine, but they might be similar to those used to repair laptops. I think some phone repair stores should sell just the ribbon cable itself.

  Thanks. I threw the battery and ribbon out because it was leaking a little. The ribbon is very small and attaches to the battery under the wrapping. Not sure if it would be replaceable.

Reason why im not buying Xiaomi phones. maybe you will have to send it to repair or have to buy a new phone
