You will always get my vote Simon - your coffee is great and affordable.
For those who haven't tried Jamocha yet, it's a faithful rendition of a Mocha Java blend :)

    • Thanks very much :-) Really appreciate it. Hope you have a fantastic weekend!

      • Hi Simon.

        when were the beans roasted?

for how long will the offer be available or is it until stocks run out?

        thanks

Hey Rosco, we roast on a daily basis and all coffee is fresh roasted to order. I have plenty of these coffees so no issue with stock levels. This deal is running for next couple of weeks :-)

Thanks Mossy. Just to give you guys a heads up, we've got a bit of a treat coming up next week. We've managed to source some organic raw cacao beans brought over on a sailboat from Vanuatu and are going to fresh roast and run an offer for the chocolate lovers out there!

Apart from the mishap of liquid chocolate pouring out of my deli grinder the smell in our roastery this week has been incredible haha

      • This sounds right up my alley!

      • If you cant grind how do we process em?

        • +1

Just to confirm, not referring to the coffee but to the Cacao deal we will be running next week. We did grind in our deli burr grinder but came out like liquid chocolate and just meant a lot of cleaning my grinder ;-)

Better way is to use a blade grinder or food processor. You can eat the beans whole or short bursts of a blender/ blade grinder will produce a result more preferable if wanting a powder like drinking chocolate. You can add vanilla or sugar as required. More intense blending due to heat will produce more like a liquid chocolate.

We will provide more details next week but they are very versatile and there are a lot of guides/recipes online and if feeling more ambitious you can even make your own chocolate (bean to bar)

        • @mannabeans: cool thanks. I dont drink coffee but cocoa sounded interesting.

      • Can't wait to try it!

  • Are these filter or espresso roast?

    • +2

medium-medium dark more suited to espresso and milk based. I do have some amazing filter coffees in stock at the moment though. There are some 91 point Ethiopians recently landed (Leku and Areka)

Anyone that wants light roast for filter you can send $69.95 through paypal to [email protected] and leave a note. I can do 2 x 480g filter(light roast Ethiopian & Kenyan) and 2 x 480g milk/espresso(Inza Jamocha)

Love Manna Beans! Convinced my business to start using them as a corporate client, so Manna beans is the sole supplier to our business. Simon is a pleasure to deal with! We should be ordering another 10kg next week mate!

    • You're a legend! Thanks again for the business referral and glad to be working with you guys :-)

  • Hi Simon, I've sent multiple emails to [email protected] for lighter roast beans but haven't been getting any responses. Have had to resort to local roasters lately :( Is this email still the best to contact you? Cheers

Hi Al, hope you're well. My apologies mate, I can see that you sent me an email on Saturday and it appears to have been missed. Generally speaking it is hard for me to offer filter coffees at these discounted price points as we tend to source the much more expensive and unique coffees for this application. The Ethiopians like the Leku in the above thread are 2-3 times more expensive and they would require individual small batch roasting.

Because of this they really need to be at website pricing if on a regular basis but as a one off have offered in the above thread to do 480g Ethiopia Leku, 480g Kenya Gichoreri(light filter roast) and 480g Colombia Inza and 480g Jamocha(medium- medium dark milk/espresso roast) for $69.95 delivered if this suits?

  • Thanks, good timing

Ive used these guys probably 20 times now. 100% happy with every aspect of their service and product.

    • Thanks Scampy, great to hear :-) appreciate your feedback and support!

  • It's just the two of us so will take about 3 months to finish all these. Will they be good for this long?

    • Replied by email :-)

      • Hi mannabeans,

I did not get your email but has PMed you.

        Thanks.

      • Curious to know about this as well.
        I go through about 1kg a month.

  • Coffee is considered fresh for the first 4 weeks from roasting. After this time the quality will drop off until you’re left with a similar standard to coffee that you would find on the supermarket shelves(technically stale). It can still be drunk for a year after roasting but isn’t considered fresh.

If needing to store longer than this then you could try freezing an unopened bag and defrosting thoroughly. It is subjective and there are varying opinions regarding this but I know that it does work well for some and they are happy with the results. To be honest I haven't tried it yet so can't comment.

Also happy to offer 1kg delivered for $35 if this helps? If suitable then you can send funds through Paypal to [email protected] and leave notes.

    Thanks
    Simon

  • "Sweet chocolate & caramel with a hint of ripe tomato. Lush in the cup with floral notes enveloped in a voluptuous milk chocolate & caramel-toned fruit that persists in the gently rich finish."

You had me until tomato! what the! :)

    • haha, yeah it's quite an interesting coffee. Very nice though, it is grown at a high altitude and because of this has a nice fruity sweetness. Don't worry everyone's subtle interpretations are different it's not like drinking ketchup ;-)

      • thank goodness for that :-)

  • Hi Simon,

I'll be splitting an order, would you be able to do 4 x 480g?

I've been enjoying your Southern Mountains blend for the last months but want to try something new. Anything similar you could suggest…that you can still do at or close to this price?

    Cheers

    • Sure, please leave notes about 4 x 480g in Paypal. These coffees would be a good alternative. Otherwise for a future deal I have a honduras San Vincente and a Colombian Pensilvania that are pretty chocolatey and work well through milk.

      • When will those be available? I have about a week left tops for the last lot of coffee I bought from you guys.

        • Maybe in next deal in a week or 2. You're welcome to leave notes in Paypal but can't guarantee outside of deal offering as if not currently roasting means performing individual small batch roasts and not viable at this price point.

The coffees in this deal are also very good through milk and Jamocha is a pretty popular blend with chocolatey profiles

        • @mannabeans: OK, I'll give these 2 a go. Thanks!

      • Thanks, ordered

    Simon,

Your timing is perfect, as usual.
