CBA Credit Card Application Process?

I recently applied for the CBA Low Fee Gold credit card and have been waiting for 2 weeks with no response from CBA.

When I login to netbank it says my application is in progress and "action required" but has no details of what actions are required. All required documents attached and even called CBA today but they were unable to help.

Anyone experienced the same issue or has an idea of what's going on?

  • Have u checked the Message box ? It should have a message with details regards to the "action required", usually it asks u to upload payslips / income statements etc.

    • Yes that's the problem, no emails no messages in netbank no phone calls :(

    Call them again and speak to someone different. CBA are the only people that can help you

    • Thanks, called again but they really have no idea and say maybe more documents are required. Really regret applying for a CBA card now.

        If that is the case then I would be making a complaint. Really not good enough from them

  • Make sure you speak to a 'Credit Card Specialist' too :)

    • Yes I made the mistake calling on a Saturday as their "Credit Card Specialists" only work mon to fri, so I called again today to speak to one and guess what, just like the guys I spoke to in branch!

    ask to send some documents but never reply. took months. i never bother to follow up at the end.
