Pay for single app on Google Play / $10 credit

I'd like to get Minecraft on 2 google accounts kids will be using. It's $9 a pop. I don't want to link a cc to the accounts, nor do I want to load extra credit to blow (accidentally or otherwise).

The minimum gift card denomination is $20 but i'd like to give them $10 each. Anyone know how to achieve this?

  • How soon do you need it?
I've earned close to $40 over 2 years using Google Rewards. Now its just sitting there for when I find an app I need.

  • Telstra SIM 'Funny' money. buy a prepaid starter SIM card, the card is worth $30 which means you can freely spend the 30 dollars on whoever's account you like.

But be aware that Telstra is going to kill the Google Play credit scheme for some plans so you need to activate a plan which does not have the Google Play exclusion.

Don't ask me which, I'm tired and i'm going to bed. Ask in this thread:

or just buy it on one account, and install on both.

It might be able to work with the new Google Play Family Sharing?

If you link the two as a family, you can share the purchases.

Or just create a new Google account and buy Minecraft against that account..
Then add the account to each tablet.
You can have more than 1 account per device and apps from each account can be installed.

  • Thanks all. I ended up just getting on one account and installing on both.
