Ozbargainer fail. If you were a true ozbargainer you would have gone for this one:
      http://shop.coles.com.au/online/mobile/national/macleans-mul…

      • If you were a true ozbargainer, you'd use your finger, and then use the money saved to buy eneloops.

        • protip: you can use exhausted eneloops as teeth replacements if you cut the eneloop in half!

  • Pretty colour… too bad the tips only come in black or white, and it's pretty hard to get the black ones ordered in.

You mean it's pretty hard to get the black tip in.

      • What if I want more than the just the tip?

This is the reason I dislike these eBay sales, this site gets spammed with every electronic listed.

  • +2

This is the reason I like ozbargain, people post deals that I may have missed.

  • If you signed up for the Amex Vogue fashion week deal and have enough Amex cards you can go to the Myer city Melbourne or Sydney store, ask for a price match, and buy it across your Amex cards to get $20 back for every $50 spent per card. Is go buy a small Bertie Beatle chocolate or something to hit the $250 mark and overall expect to get $100 back across 5 cards.
    Deal ends this week though.

    • You won't get a price match and it's an eBay promotion.

I just bight my second one if these. The other one lasted 4 years. It's the best electric toothbrush I've had. I got my second one off ebay for $100 but that's only because I didn't need the charger and case.

My feedback: I bought this a couple of months ago, and I'll never go back to anything else.

Been using the Sonicare Flexcare for about 8 months and my dentist couldn't believe how clean my teeth were!

  • Thanks OP, been looking at these for a while to replace my Oral B

    • +1

I've had both and the Philips is much better.

  • I don't intend to start a debate here but can someone who has used both similarly priced Philips Sonicare and Oral-B Pro provide some objective feedback please?

    • I haven't used Philips Sonicare… But Oral-B Pro don't last long for me…
I want to try Philips Sonicare. Saw some at Costco…

I've used my Philips Sonicare for over a year and a half now. Previously had the Oral-B Triumph 5000. I can say I certainly prefer the Philips Sonicare and it's still going strong. The Oral-B seemed to have a shorter life span.

Philips is built much better (though some people say they leak around the button). The OralB mechanically rotates the brush (just a little, more like a twitch), the Philips 'buzzes' which actually works better. Philips heads last much longer. The charger and travel case is far better (Philips). This model Philips has a Li-Ion battery. Not sure if the top OralB has that yet.

For both you can get cheap imitation heads, though whether it's worth it given the quality of them I'm not sure.

      • I've been using the Oral-B Vitality and I'm considering whether to upgrade to their Pro model or to switch to Sonicare. I wonder if this high frequency sonic buzzing would be transmitted to the nerves and causes diacomfort.

        • Nooo :-) I would think that extremely unlikely and if it did would indicate some dental (or mental) issue that needs attention :-)

  • I bought one off Gumtree for $50 used once new tips

  • Have had one for ~1 year. Great brush.

Agree with other commentators that it has a superior build quality than similar Oral-B's. Did pay $189 last year from eBay, but hey, this deal is still decent.

  • What is the best place to get refils?

    • +1

Your dentist can order the DiamondClean heads in for ~$20 a pack of two heads, so make friends with one.

I'm in ADL/Copper Coast region for anyone interested…

  • Decided to pull the trigger on that.
Now Myer said online purchases are getting invoice via email.
I don't have any invoice since I purchased it via eBay…
Has anyone successfully claimed cash back for eBay purchases?
