Heraldsun Delivery Service, Threw Paper and Dented My Car

Every weekend I get my paper delivered, I love the service and had no problem with it for the past 3 years.

Last week my household recently got a third car so we had 3 cars in our driveway instead of the two.

Long story short. I heard a bang on Saturday morning with the paper landing on my car. Although we don't usually park on the grass (still within our private property), the paper was thrown on the usual spot and unfortunately landed on my car, leaving a minor scratch and dent.

Any possible actions?

  lol, sorry to laugh at this story but how heavy and hard is the paper to cause a dent and scratch on your car?

    Must have butt-landed, spining in on a high wide arc, at just the right speed as it came in to end-punch that panel, prolly tightly wrapped with plastic too…Darn, thats a hard shot to make… 8)

  Usually people complain about the paper being light on content, not the other way around

  in high school I used to deliver morning papers in a VW combi. someone with a license drove and the younger person would sit in the back and throw the papers(rolled and wrapped in plastic) out the door.

  on cold mornings there would be dew everywhere and on the car. the trick was to get the paper to hit the top of the boot at the right angle to get it to slide up and over the car - effectively "skimming" the paper.

  The golden shot was throwing the paper and it landing in the mail box. - I only saw that happen once in 3 years.

  you dont have to worry about it ever happening again
  put subscription fee towards paintless dent removal
