    • Good stuff, thanks Tuzii

      • +1

my guess is they will all be in chinese for sometime.
one of the sellers notes that.

        • Ohh good pick up. Yeah in spite of my need of things new and shiny i think i'll wait. Probably easier than learning to read Chinese…

  • I've had mixed feelings about my original Mibands. I loved them and their simplicity, but the bands split so easily and one unit just stopped charging for no good reason. So I'd be a bit dubious about the long term quality of these. Maybe using a sub brand they're better. But maybe worse. Either way I backed the pebble 2 Kickstarter so I can't justify finding out first hand. :)

I do like the look of these. Not sure I like the red band, but it's certainly not boring.

    • I hear you. I think with this watch the band is just a band so i'm sure if it splits i can just get a decent replacement (I hope). I actually have the Pebble Time Steel and do love it, mainly because of the 10 day battery. I think the need to have something new (and decent) is going to make me buy this. I could regret it and go back to my Pebble but i'm willing to take the risk and find out.

    • I can sort of forgive the design flaws and hardware limitations of the Miband considering it is so cheap ($14 USD or so).

However, what I found really dissapointing was the app itself, which lacked a lot of customisation options, the english translation is iffy, the software is buggy, the synching times are terrible and there's also little to no tech support or documentation to outline what you should do when something doesn't work.

If I'm buying a $150 USD wearable, I'd expect their software to be good to reflect that $150 USD pricetag.

they try a little too hard to make their software minimalistic.
