I have series 6 Samsung Smart TV and Ipad air 2.
I want to "mirror" the ipad screen to Samsung TV.
Can you suggest me any app for that?
(I know I can do that with HDMI cable or apple TV but I am looking for good app for that, there is app - Samsung smart view which only mirror the media files but does not mirror actual ipad home screen)

I should mention airplay allows you to mirror screens.

Download the Google Cast app for Chrome Browser. The Icon will appear in the top right corner of the GOogle Chrome Web browser. Then click Cast Desktop (don't click Cast Tab unless you want to cast your current webpage). If your wifi signal isn't strong, there will be lag.
I just bought chromecast 2. I can mirror my desktop screen - that works fine. However i can not mirror my ipad or iphone screen, i can only mirror some apps. any suggestion?
@sydneybargainer: You can mirror your desktop with no lag? I have a chromecast 2 too but there is major lag is i try to cast my desktop (no lag when I cast chrome tabs though)
As far as I know you can't really 'mirror' the iPad screen on the Samsung TV, as that is an apple device, you can only play specific apps such as YouTube, Netflix, Facebook etc. I would assume your TV has a built in Google Cast app if it is an Android TV? Try pairing that if it is available with the Google Cast app from the app store. However you still will not be able to 'mirror' the screen like an Android device?
As above, either Apple TV or Chromecast 2, it's cheap and works great
Will chromecast 2 work for Foxtel go playing on iPad?
There is no way for an app to do this. Unlike Android, iOS has security features. So, apps can't just capture the screen. If they could they'd be able to read your bank details, your emails, etc. You have to buy an Apple TV or use a cable.

unless there is an airplay app on the (I'm assuming android) not to my knowledge as apple is very closed system with mirroring.
