Good office chair that you would recommend

Hi all,
Chasing opinions as to what you think a good ergonomic office chair plus foot rest would be?
How are Milan Directs products?
I can see that the Ergohuman and the Buro Metro are popular amongst users.
I'm undergoing surgeries over the next 12 months so that's the primary reason for chasing a good office chair with a foot rest where possible. Lower back support would be ideal as we all, as I have sciatica.
Willing to spend $500 on it, but would ideally like something between $300-$400.

Thanks.

  • I use Team Air and Buro Metro.

    Both great!

  • After trying several chairs I have settled with a Steelcase Gesture https://www.steelcase.com/products/office-chairs/gesture/

Just noticed… this will be out of your budget @ ~1K. Given the budget, I would suggest checking out CBD Office Furniture on FB https://www.facebook.com/cbdofficefurnituresydney/ They regularly get quality office chairs from office liquidations, such as the Herman Miller Aeron. Good luck

  • I use the Herman Miller Mirra chairs at work. They offer very good back support, similar to the Aeron.
They are around $1000 new, but can be had around $400 second hand.
At home I have a Formway brand office chair. It is OK, but not anywhere near as comfortable for long periods.
    It was $40 secondhand.

  • i have one of these at work

and a Herman Miller Aeron Chair at home

  • Look at this on eBay http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/162053389593

What are everyone's thoughts on the above link?

I have a 20% eBay coupon with. Max discount of $50 to use in the next week.
Any other suggestions to make the most of that discount in terms of decent ergonomic chairs?

    Thanks.
