Looking for 1. Luggage Bags and 2. Bath Robe

Hello All,

I'm based in Melbourne and I've been looking around in the CBD for these items. I'll briefly explain where all I've checked. I would like you guys to let me know if I should buy them or if there's a good bargain you can advise me about.

1. Luggage Bags:
   Requirements: One large (71-74 cm) and one small cabin size compliant (48cm). Both needed with 360 degree wheel movement.

I've searched around in some luggage stores which perpetually advertise sales of upto 70%. Most have the large one at around $100 to $180 (brands ranging from Jetstream or other Chinese variants to Samsonite/American Tourister). I wouldn't mind spending the extra on American Tourister provided they are worth it and come with good after sales and warranty. Even checked the outlet mall on Spencer St and Target as well as Big W which had some more cheaper chinese stuff.

Same for the small bag, however, I noticed that the smaller ones for the above brands are quite more expensive (around $70 to $120). Any reason for such high prices?

I don't mind having both of them not being part of the same set.

2 Bath Robe
Requirements: I need one specifically made of towel material

In all of the stores I've visited, they've pointed me to the sleepwear robes, made of soft velvety materials. I need a bathrobe, made of a towel-ly material. I've checked Target, Big W, Spencer outlet mall but no luck. Any suggestions apart from ordering online.

I wouldn't mind ordering online as well but I would prefer to check quality before buying.

  For the bath robe, I had the same problem. You need to search for terry towel or Egyptian cotton bath robes. Take a look at Sheridan https://www.sheridan.com.au/bathroom/robes.html

  Just got two terry towel bath robes from Catch of the Day for $25 each +postage. They have shed a bit and leaked colour (red) in the wash but I still think very good value for my use (gym).

  For an excellent quality robe - recommend canningvale, but approx $100.
