Says until stocks last on the promo ticket and it comes to about 23c per 100 sheets. Hooray for 3 ply!

Do they have these at other stores?

… to keep the poop monsters out.

        like these? :)

          That was one epic deal

      • I want to jump through your tissue fort

    Think it's nationwide

Thanks MS, i guess if people cant find it at other Coles stores then they can go here as it looks like they have heaps! :)

I also found this deal in Coles in Eastgarden NSW

  • +1

It was in the catalogue, should be nationwide.

    • Also, the 18 packs are usually $8 at BigW and often on special for $7, though I don't think they advertise it very heavily. In case anyone has a BigW nearby and doesn't want to pay 50c/roll at the supermarkets.

      • The 36 packs used to be $15 at Big W as well. I haven't looked at the price lately though

(I am associated with Big W)

How good of a bargaun is this? Im nearly though my 72 * 8 packs from the last deal around a year ago and am keen to avoid ahving to use my hand - but this is the cheaper option.

      $15 / 36pk = $0.42/roll => nothing special

      • Thanks Tonester.

Especially considering the last deal dated August 2016 was $7/36pack

        • +5

For approx 8 hours as it was a price error

23c per 100 sheets - standard price for aldi comfort brand 3 ply. nothing massive in terms of sale.
i dont buy toliet paper unless its 23 or less per 100.

    • +5

      respect

    • Noticed this at Aldi's as well today. Going to have to buy more stuff there from now on. Only have a Woolies really local (within walking distance that is….).On a side note i don't seem to be able to find any 4 roll packs @ Woolies… Quilton used to have them but seemingly disappeared :/..

      • +3

Aldi toilet paper is the best value without specials but realistically, Aldi 3ply is nowhere near as good as Quilton 3ply.

  • +2

Quilton have also somewhat secretly gone down the road of reducing the sheet count per roll from 190 to 180 (similar to Sorbent), thereby trying to make you pay the same for less without noticing.

    • +3

      that's shit… oh wait..

    • Sure, but at least the unit price is listed per 100 sheets rather than per "roll" or anything like that.

Isn't $15 for the 36 pack the regular price?

    • +1

They're usually $15 a pack when we have them. Though as they're an allocation, once the sale period is over (usually 2 weeks) we don't get any more in (hence "while stocks last"). They're not a normal shelf item.

      • Do they go on 'clearance' if its after the catalogue period, and it is not a normal shelf item?

        • Them going on clearance depends on the store and how much stock they have when the sale ends. The last few times my store has had these we've completely sold out after the 2 weeks, so I can't comment on that.

Not a normal shelf item. If your local store has them on their shelves then it likely won't be there when they've sold all that they have.

        • Also work for Coles and at my store these "while stocks last" items never make it to clearance as they sell very fast.

However worked a nine hour shift yesterday and I was really surprised on the amount of people that brought the smaller lesser value pack that was right next to this one!

  • Woolworths Select Toilet Tissue White 3ply 190ss 24pk $9, which 0.375c/roll

  • Weren't these $7.50 last week? I'm sure I saw a post here.

    • +1

      $7. Price error

      • Price error awesomeness….

  • +2

These will be on sale all of next week too (7/9-13/9 per Coles Wednesday-Tuesday sales).

They also should be $15 still, though I don't have a catalogue handy to verify.

  • +2

41 cents a roll. Let me know when it hits below 34 cents.

    • yeah, i saw it many times. just did not make up my mind to buy cuz i think the price could be lower…
      I am with you.

  • I want to rugby tackle that wall of toilet paper in OP pic.

  • someone brought the same at coles $7 last week.
