Virgin Mobile and Facebook Android App

Recently noticed that the Facebook app and messenger isn't working since Facebook updated their android app on 29 August.

Tried uninstalling, re-installing, restarting, clearing cache, each time it says I have no network connection.

It seems like it is an issue with how Virgin have their network configured

Strange thing is, it happens on Wi-Fi as well, regardless of the ISP.

Facebook is working on mobile browser.

Are any other Virgin Mobile Android users experiencing the same issue?

    My friend had this issue but he's on Vodafone. He uninstalled Facebook and Messenger, installed older versions and disabled auto update.

    • That's interesting that it is affecting Vodafone too.

    Mine was the same go to apk mirror and download the previous version of facebook and dont update it through google play till they fix it
