IMO, The Reverent is the only title out of these to choose, as it's only one of two titles in this list to have a 4K master (I think Maze Runner might also, but is it worth owning that anyway?). All the rest are upscaled from 2K, not real 4K.

EDIT: Of course Independence Day also be true 4K, as it's shot on film and edited before 2K digital intermediates were the standard.

TRUE. Read a review that the Revenant is a MUST have, that it looks better than it did in the cinemas. Amazing

I don't think that the XBOX One S can do Dolby Atmos or DTS X, let alone DTS HDMA or Dolby Tru HD. Is it worth the upgrade then? I have a vanilla XBOX ONE from launch and am thinking of waiting for a Scorpio. But then again, I just bought a 4K TV from the Good Guys deal last week…… 1st world problems!

    • I dont know much about waht the S can do but if you got money to throw around a bit id suggest just waiting for Scorpio as it will be able to play your 4k movies.

      • Scorpio Aus release date is yet to be announced, One S can play 4K Bluray & stream 4K video from Netflix, Youtube etc…. It's the best value for money 4K Bluray player on the market right now imho…

Sure it could take quite a while but then again there isnt a whole lot of 4k content out as of now and good luck streaming 4k with australian internet

@TripleCheesePizza: agree with your comment about lack of 4K Bluray content! it's only the beginning, there will be a bigger release of new movies by Xmas this year.
As for 4K streaming, I've been streaming Netflix & Youtube 4K since March with no issues (am on Telstra cable)! HDR & Dolby Vision is amazing!!

        • @TripleCheesePizza: I've been streaming Netflix and YouTube content in 4K on a 10Mb ADSL2+.

          No problems!

    • Is this correct, the S cant do any of the HD audio formats?

If I am geeting 4k then I also want DTS HDMA or Dolby True HD at thr least.

Wish that the gears of war one had a price drop, I'd trade my one in for that.

Just called up JB - they don't trade in consoles! BUMMER!
EB is offering $170 for my launch XBOX one. + 15% Level 3…. so ~210 if I got an S from EB without the UHD Blu Ray….

    • nice price with the trade in!

unfortunately for me, i only have an Xbox 360 elite! EB or JB not currently taking 360s for trade-in anymore!

  • $388 at Big W, no 4k Bluray of course.

  • Alas I was too late to fight over the two Xbox ones on clearance at my local target yesterday. This deal seems ok but I have zero interest in these 4K movies. Does anyone know how much one would expect to trade/sell one for? What would be the most popular film to sell?
