Xbox One and Xbox 360 Download Issues Xbox Live??

How do you get the free xbox 360 stuff onto your xbox one?
I purchased some dlc for xbox one games all easy and done through paypal.
But trying to do anything with 360 stuff is not happening.
Im tryibg to get horizon thats free and a few cheap dlc to go with it.
And even with a card on file snd two paypsl accounts i still cant make it happen.

When i try to purchase x360 stuff either free or for a payment i get update or change billing.
Had no issues with other stuff for xbox one stuff.
Up comes a screen with billing contact info and is related to usa which you don't get option to change?

I do have a sony android tv and have a vpn to see netflix in usa and have had a xbox 360 in past but a few years ago now but surely this is not the problem.
I can't understand why im having issues with xbox 360 stuff thats free.

    Your console region probably set to USA. Just ask live chat if you can't change it on your side. Should be easy fix.

    Why would it be set to USA it was purchased for jb hifi here? And I don't have issues with other buying from Xbox live like Dhl etc I purchased 4 just yesterday but anything to do with Xbox 360 it's doing or asking me different I have been on Xbox live to try I have tried even on Xbox site,I think even I think taken to Microsoft site gods knows it should not really be that hard?
    Why am I able to purchase with my Xbox live other stuff but nothing works on when it's to do with Xbox 360 as the dlc and free game is 360 and anything to do with Xbox one stuff never an issue.
    I'm even downloading a free Xbox one game now and was no trouble with that or others in past.

    It's the 360 stuff free games or buying dlc I have problems with been at it all day,on the net through Xbox etc starting to do my head in

    You need to change your xbox 360 region. It can be different from your xbox one region. There is a page somewhere on the xbox site you can use to change it. I did it recently.

      Change Xbox 360 region? Yes very possible as had Xbox 369 in another country and Xbox one from here.

      I have Xbox live on my Xbox one and games I own and have downloaded for free changing this will not affect my Xbox one in any way or my Xbox live?

    My other issue is will my Xbox 360 have been different from my Xbox one as in log in as when I select to change region of the Xbox 369 it cones up with sign up which has my Xbox one email on it which is probably cause I used it to log in past.
    How do I know if my Xbox 360 and Xbox one are same log in or different?

    I still have my Xbox 369 but packed away does this mean I need to dig it out and set it all up to change location etc? It was as said from overseas and I can't even remember if I had it on yet here. But I since then purchased a Xbox one about yr ago have Xbox live on that and seen a Xbox 360 game for free I like, and also a dlc but that deal be finished by time this is all sorted.
    But I have no idea if my Xbox details sign in was the same as this one,I had two Xbox 360 in the day upgraded to a better one and then to Xbox one.
    But by worry as I have Xbox live sine paid dlc and paid games messing around with 360 or settings or trying to change locations it mess up what I currently have or own now on my Xbox one. And the fact I have months left on my Xbox live.
    You would think it be easy all this just click on game and all done,why offer it free if they make it hard?
    Ok does not help my Xbox 360 was from another region/location but I'm not using it now and I'm using a Xbox one so why all the hassles.
    I suppose it be the same me trying to use the 360 games I own on Xbox one?
    I probably have a bit of time left yet to get this free Forza horizon but as for the dlc for it it expire before I get this sorted which is annoying.

    So it appears you're using an xbox one, and you want to get forza horizon for x360 while it's free?

    For one thing, it's free for Gold live members, so you have till the 15th of the month.

      Yes I'm a gold member and no I dint get it from the link yes Xbox one stuff but for some reason not Xbox 360, I tried to get the game and a dlc same issues.

        So what happens when you click through the link and 'buy' it from there?

        I think you'll need screenshots or to copy what it says, there's a communication breakdown here which makes it hard diagnosing the issue.

    I deleted my name and email from the billing page,but it's got USA and you can't select anywhere else apart from USA states??
