Bank of Sydney Home Loan Review

This is my first post. So please be kind.

I am processing home loan with an aggregator and they have come up with a product from Bank of Sydney. Noticed this because my credit file knocked off with an entry.

So questions are :

How is your overall experience with this bank?
How is their customer service & online banking facility?
Safe to use their offset facility?

    Avoid Small Lenders…just incase…Dig Deep and find the best rate with Big Banks. You might get same deal with Big Banks as i did.

      Any particular reason not to go with small lenders? Also do you mind sharing deal you got from Big 4?

      With this lender I have been offered 3.63% Variable with free offset and no ongoing or any fees.

        i got 3.5 effective rate variable with one of broker with no fees

          The deal is quite recent, don't think that someone from that post has already taken the loan, I'm still waiting for their approval though…

          @userblocked: got their approval, they work through this bank as well, but their lowest similar product is 3.44% + application fees…

          @userblocked: yeah, correct ;( But it might me cheaper to take another loan or use a credit card than pay mortgage insurance for 85% LVR…

    Have been getting phone call from valuer (BOS assigned) to have property available for inspection for valuation? But it's not ready yet…

    Has anyone gone through property valuation with BOS?

          @Ametric: hmmmm…have you applied directly with them? They've been calling me for property inspection for valuation. SO I think I have passed that documents stage.

    I had my valuation done on Tuesday this week. Have not heard back though.
    The process is taking a bit longer than i thougjt, worth the wait though i reckon…
