hi all, so i am on the market for a new fridge, and came across this site www.appliancediscounters.com.au.
just wondering if anyone has delt with them, as the prices seem to good to be true…
your advice would be appreciated!

yeah, it looks totally dodgy.
there is no physical address listed for the business.
the photo of the 3 blokes in the "about us" page name them as - "Appliance Discounters CoFounders: Ryan, Bob & Mark.".
doing a google image search takes us to this page where the 3 blokes are identified as "Michael Hall, Executive Director (former Managing Director of Integrated Appliance Group); Greg Raine, National Sales Manager Kitchen & Commercial (former National Sales Manager Integrated Appliance Group); Mathew Vozzo Retail (formerly National Sales Manager Euromaid)."
so, one of those sites is lying. no prizes for guessing which one.
thanks, yeah i checked out the abn as well and notices the not registered for gst part, but wasnt so sure!

Their privacy policy seems to reference the california Online Privacy Protection Act (that is, most likely copied and pasted from somewhere else)
and
The ABN listed at the bottom of their page says that it's registered under Leisure Apllicance Group Pty Ltd (QLD), but the strange thing is, the entry says that the ABN is NOT registered for GST.
Besides that, the testimonials sound scripted.
I haven't really looked and compared the prices, but the same rules usually apply - if it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is!
