Night in Brisbane!

Hey guys,

On the way back from Rockhampton, I am going to stay in Brisbane for one night. Please advise, what I should not miss apart from the beautiful night view of the spectacular city!

Thanks in advance :)

Get on the free Cityhopper ferry. https://www.brisbane.qld.gov.au/traffic-transport/public-tra…

And, assuming you're flying from Brisbane airport, you can save about $10 on the AirTrain if you're willing to get the train/bus to DFO and then the free Skygate terminal bus.

What night of the week are you staying? If it's a Friday or Saturday night you should check out Eat St markets and then catch the city cat into the city from there. It's a great way to see the city.

    • Unfortunately, its Tuesday :(

Welcome to Brisbane. You should stay a few days more.
Check out the programmes for Brisbane Festival.
You might even catch the Riverfire.
During the day go to Southbank (and bring your swimmers), the whole Cultural precinct for the Art Gallery.

    • Thank you so much for your nice advice. I know, one day is nothing for Brisbane! Actually, this is my Rockhampton tour. I will be back soon for a whole week for Brisbane and Goldcoast…

Brisbane was nice! The weather was little bit chill at night but no problem to me as I am from Canberra :)

I enjoyed the city hopper trip: Brisbane river was really nice, had dinner with live music, fresh ‘Crab cake salad’ and ‘lemon lime and bitters’ at the pub, walking through the Queen street, bit shopping, enjoyed nice breeze at river bank…colourful night…! The only issue: could not stay late as I was alone and had no personal car :( Next time I will take my boyfriend with me and have more fun…

        • @shopno: is the pub's name 'The Pub' ?? I can't find it when I google.

        • @peck: :-P that was "PiG n Whistle"!

The night-time climb is great, if you're up to it.
