Osmo Mobile by DJI - Does Anyone Care?

Hi all,

So I'm not really into photography/videography. Never really tried my hand at it, but I like viewing good media.

Recently, DJI, a company who I believe invented the drone (as far as recreational video is concerned), has launched a product called Osmo Mobile.

America, retails about $200, and Australia I think is about $500.

Makes video look incredibly smooth (Essentially it's a gymble stabilizer for your phone camera).

I'm considering getting this? I could imagine this a great way to capture important memories like kids birthdays etc.

Thoughts?

I had a play with a DJI Osmo 4K camera over the weekend and it was pretty sweet!

  • Any link to the product!!

    • I'd love to put up a link, but I'm at work. No access to youtube (Yes, we still have access to Ozb hehe).

Youtube -> Osmo Mobile, First link. Awesome stuff

Bit cheaper….. know nothing of quality of product or if there's an accompanying app

  • Lots of vloggers use their mobile, so presumably yeah some people do care

A bit late to the party, but I used a similar gimbal for my GoPro on my last holiday. It makes a huge difference, but you still need to put a video together. If it's just for fun snippets I probably wouldn't bother.
