Looking for Cheap 4G Wi-Fi Dongle

  Any reason why you wouldn't just buy a SIM for your phone and use the Phone as a hotspot?
  There may well be a valid reason - like it's a Work phone and I need to be contactable on my work number.
  But for private use, you probably want to leave your number at home and rely on local SIMs when you're travelling.

    I want the 4G wifi dongle always on and connected at home to the socket.
    I already carry 2 phones when travelling overseas and don't want a 3rd one.

  I use an Hauwei E5573, which came unlocked by default. If you have any use for a USB dongle rather than a wifi one, the Telstra Pre-Paid MF823 is a good option, and can be unlocked for about $10.

    is the Huawei E5573 an Optus one? does it have all popular bands?
    what is the advantage of Telstra MF823 over Huawei E5573?

      If you look at ths specs, you'll see they're for different uses. The E5573 shares the 4g connection over wifi, and the MF823 is a USB dongle for plugging straight into a computer etc.

        I want to share the net across home with multiple users.
        so I guess a wifi dongle like E5573 is what I need.
