Hi everyone, after watching the tokyo game show 2016 on sony's live conference on youtube I am pleased to announced that our PS4 is now HDR ready with the new update which I have just tested.
Requirement:
PS4 console
Internet
4K TV with HDR feature (not all 4K TV have got HDR)
Head to settings and update your PS4 and then head to sound and outputs/video outputs and you will see HDR set to Auto and high colour gamut set to auto too.
I tested one of my free PSN game Journey and I almost went blind……Its a nice improvement.

They haven't actually patched the games yet if this source is accurate, so it looks like this is just the improvement that televisions make on their own then.
Of course it makes sense that the tv would do it automatically, just wonder what the actual programmed improvements would be like.
*edit: of course I only have this source to go by, they may have updated it already :/
