Don't forget AMEX shop small too. (It was a participating store in the past so I presume it will also be this time round.)

    • You remind me that ANZ Amex is the only card that didn't think Lindt is 'small shop' last time, and no so credit received.

    • +3

Actually, Lindt's been removed from the shop small campaign

  • All that's missing is an AMEX offer to go with this deal. Last time we had this with the AMEX offer, everyone was enjoying packing as much as possible.

  • almost 2KG of chocolates

Ohhhh… imagine having a binge on all of that in one night. :)

      I could do it bro.

    • I still have chocolate from the 2nd last time they did this before last Christmas!

    • Oops, I didn't find it when I checked for an existing post. My bad

      • Not if this includes bags. They sound better value if you can fit 2kg

So, are these all just variations on those awful Lindor balls?

    • +1

I'm with you, they taste like butter, not chocolate.

    • So, I got negged for asking a question - and no one even answered it.

I guess the answer is yes.

Regular Lindt chocolates (like these) are great - but those Lindor things are horrible (IMO).

  • Sweet deal. Tempted

  • anyone know how many g per box sizes?

    • As I mentioned, it depends on your skill. You can stuff upto 2KG in the big box. And if you don't mind having crushed chocolates, you can even take home more!

    • i asked the girl at the counter who said the large gift box can fit around 900g = approx 70

      • It's about right for the big box (half price $26), or about 1kg if you carefully packed right up to the top partly fill the space of the lid cover.

@sbrulz might be talking about the time when they sold them in a bag.

  • Anyone successful in redeeming the shop small Amex offer at Lindt in sydney

  • They had 50% off at the lindt store at Birkenhead Point a few months ago. Was a little disappointed that the choc centre had solidified though.

    Thanks OP.
I managed to pack 850g (including box) into a small box. And no, none of them was crushed :-)
The trick is to fill the gaps between round balls with flat pieces.

Went to Chadstone today and they didn't have the flat pieces available in pick and mix, only the balls :(

Thanks. DFO Brisbane store had a staff member who sent me back to top up my box some more, advising that the box lid doesn't have to fit snug, just overlap enough on the box to not fall off. I fit 700g into a $16 box. Less than some others, but I was buying more balls than blocks because they have so many flavours I have yet to try.

    • That's awesome. At Martin Place the lady took half of my chocolates out. Now she has to put all of them away.

  • Hey OP. What bags were you able to get for $32. Your title talks about boxes.

  • FYI, Lint said in Facebook comments that this sale ends Sunday 16th October.

  • This deal ended Wednesday, according to the manager at the Adelaide Lindt store. Probably worth marking this as expired now…

But if you ask the manager of your chosen shop or cafe nicely and show them the Facebook comment with the October 16 end-date, you might be lucky still :-)

I'm glad I checked here before heading to my store today (Harbourtown Gold Coast). Rang up the store before driving up there, and they said it had finished on Wed ie 12 Oct. When I said their FB page said it ended today 16 Oct, he just said he didn't know what FB said (with attitude of "don't know/don't care"). I asked if they would honour the FB date, but no. I would have been really p!ssed off if I'd gone up there and the special was over.

    • Wow, the Adelaide manager was really nice about it when I showed them the FB post in person. They were more than happy to allow an exception after making a quick phone call to the Lindt offices to get the OK.

  • We just had to get some on our Brisbane trip just over a week ago.

    Bad OzBargain, bad OzBargain :/
