2G Telstra Shut Down - New Phone with Keypad

Hello. Know someone who is using Lycamobile with a 2G only phone right now, and so need to find a new phone by 1/12/2016. What I am looking for is a phone with physical buttons, and is also carrier unlocked or cheap to do so. Price is also important.

I found 2 options I like so far:
Telstra Cruise T126
Currently for $15 and sometimes $10, + ~$7 from DC-Unlocker from people who tried on this forum.
UMTS 850

Nokia C2-01
From Ebay for ~$65
UMTS 850 / 1900 / 2100

Would like some help. Thanks in advance.

    I was using a Telstra 2G mobile as a back-up phone and Telstra sent me a SMS last month to say the 2G network was closing down and included a link to their website to get a care package which included a Telstra Cruise phone, 3G sim and a Telstra Shop voucher to get the information from the 2G phone transferred to the cruise but didn't use and I lost the SMS with the link.

    Had a Nokia e71. That phone was awesome. Pretty sure it was 3g

    Blackberry's with qwerty keyboards are plentiful on aliexpress
    Thinking of getting one just for those times when I used to envy people who had them!

    Hmm. I think I will stick with the Telstra Cruise T126, since it is the cheapest and local too. Other options are hard to find new/refurbished/overseas.

      I've got a 30$ Telstra care voucher they sent me which gives you support instore if you need help setting up your new phone or any follow up help as a result of them switching off 2G.
