Garmin Vivofit replace battery or replace unit?

My Garmin Vivofit is about 18 months old. I think battery might be weakening as I'm unable to sync it to my phone. Does anyone know if the battery can be replaced, and roughly at what cost, or is it just better to replace it with a more current model?

Re: current model, anyone know where I can find one on the cheap?

    Give this a read

Yes you can replace the battery on it, as for price $6 off ebay

    thank me later

Dont bother wasting money on a newer model if its simply a battery, I would always go the ozbargain way first and get the cheapest option :)

    • Thanks. I'll look up the links you posted when I get home.

    • I'm going to thank you now. :)

I looked at the guide and it looked really simple to replace the battery and already ordered the batteries on ebay yesterday. :) You're a legend.

      • All good, I have one of them and it works well :)

Batteries last for at least a year

      • How did you go? I found the eBay batteries dodgy and the LCD never lit up properly and the low battery indicator turned on. What was your experience. Also give it a couple of weeks to see how the batteries develop.

        • To be honest, I still can't get my vivofit to sync with my phone. Nothing wrong with the batteries I think.
