Why are food stuff not bargains?

    • +2

That's a fairly harsh and subjective view. I feel valid supermarket bargains belong on this site (as shown previously).

It's all in the eye of the beholder. I'm surprised no one has called you a prawn though.

ERRR.. the last I heard bargains are either promotions or liquidations. Im sure someone who lives close to Broadway can take advantage of it.

yes please, i love to see ur local shopping centre free stuff. i don't mind as long as freebies

  • How is 0.5kg free tiger prawns not a bargain? If you feel that your local shopping centre has free stuff or bargain, I am sure people living in your area will appreciate you posting it. I don't see the need for the negative vote.

    • Agreed, I go to UTS so it works out for me :D thanks for the heads up!

Might be worth noting Broadway in Sydney (we have a Broadway up here in Brisbane too).

  • hmmm its prolly thailand tiger prawns
    which are like 10 bucks a kilo…

    • it's probably more likely to be viet.
thailand is predominately farming vannamei prawns.

also considering the season, it's prob going to be small in size.

      • tiger prawn is not the same species as vannamei prawns

      • never heard of small tiger prawns

    • It doesn't really matter, I've had prawns from Asia and they are just fine. Just make sure you keep them fresh :)

Hey aren't tigers like, a protected species or something? Won't they go extinct?

    • +3

Well Im sure you could alway try asking them if they could give you banana prawns instead. I'm pretty sure bananas won't got extinct.

thailand ones are gorwn on farms,
which is why they are cleaner, and have no whiskers

    • what about bengal, or sumatran?

      • thats the real tiger mate hahahaha

  • Great, Broadway is only 3 minutes from me!

    Oh. Wait. Different Broadway.

Maybe a state and suburb would be useful.

Please state the city/state/suburb when quoting local shopping center specials :-)
