I haven't looked, but I'm guessing ~57 is probably the price for most new titles, free shipping for anything above 50!

  • Damn I just paid $62.99 from the same place :(

I had it in my cart for 67 for ages, somehow just kept waiting! It's alrite you'll score some other deal some day!

      • +1

As I haven't got my copy yet I asked for a refund of the difference.. They seem to have fairly good customer service so it's worth a shot.

        • That's a good idea, hopefully they deliver, Ozgameshop do seem like the kind of store that looks out for its own. Let us know how it goes!

        • @Zylam Marex: They gave me $2 worth of points. Better than nothing I guess..

        • @Ryballs:

That's not to bad, yea better than nothing I guess, still a good deal at 63 though! Far better than local prices.

  • I want to get back on this too but is it worth buying considering Destiny 2 is coming out in 2017?

    • Yea I had the same situation, but September 2017 is ages away, might as well have some fun in Destiny for a few months. Also there's a ton of content for 57 bucks.

      • $57 is the price of a brand new game though. I suppose it still is quite cheap but I also fear that a lot of others would also be waiting it out. Plus the copy isn't worth anything since all the expansions are on codes.

I heard that Destiny 2 might even be on PC?

        • Yea I know, but I have this feeling that Destiny is a game that people who buy it, know exactly they are getting. I personally brought it at launch, 2 years ago, played it for a month, loved it then hated it and sold it for the same price. I followed it's progress but never picked up the expansions and I knew a full complete version with everything so far was coming this year, I felt inclined to return because it looks like a lot of fun now.

Destiny is a good game, just not everyone's kind of game. But at 57 there is a lot of content in the Collection, and it's fun to pick up and grind it out with friends every few days.

See how you go with it, look online, check out the reviews and see if it's worth it for you. I was planning on getting the collection before it was even announced, so I'm happy with it costing 57.

        • @Zylam Marex: that's exactly what I did too. Quit after a month because rngesus hated me. Please let me know how you find it after a few weeks of play and whether you regret that purchase.

        • @ChillBro:

Yea for sure man, I'll let you know. I'll probably enjoy it quite a bit, since I now what kind of game it is now. I just hope they haven't stuffed up the weapon balance in the Crucible!

  • Paid $67.99 for the pre-order a few weeks back from here.. Stupidly paid for express shipping (now $72.99) and its not here on release day :(.

Anyway good deal OP, I should have waited :p

    • Yea I hardly ever expect Ozgameshop to deliver on release day. But it's alrite the price is worth the wait.

  • If you don't care about the disc it is $60 for digital from the Xbox store. Free shipping via your internet.

    • +2

If you live in America, and have American dollars. It's 89 dollars on the Aus store.

      • So it is. Did not even realise it had me logged into the US site. Was wondering why some of the prices actually looked ok..

        • +1

Yea man US prices are just awesome, wish there was parady between them and us.

  • +2

Word of warning - The expansions are not included on the disc (as the disc only contains the regular version of the game).

Instead, they're on one code, meaning you'll need to pay attention to see the slips inserted into the case (when buying in-store). Also, don't buy this second-hand as the code's most likely been redeemed by then.

    • Yea I'm happy with this, lets me share the expansions with my little sister with the Xbox One home sharing.

I got a super cheap vanilla Destiny, gave that to her and now with this I get a vanilla Destiny disk plus all the DLC digital, much cheaper than buying it digitally from the Xbox store.

  • Destiny the taken king os this the same or different and is this worth a buy?

    • Nah Taken King is the expansion before this one, the Taken King edition only contains Expansions 1, 2 and the Taken King, where as this is all of that plus the new expansion, Rise of Iron. (Of course he base game is included for both)

If you want Destiny, you can't get a better deal than this. Last I checked The Taken King was like 40 from JB, the Rise of Iron add-on is around 40.

This is a really good deal for all of Destiny.

  • The rating on the front tells me these arent PAL versions of the game. Do I need a PAL copy to run on Xbox One in Australia?

    • +2

PAL and NTSC aren't relevant with this generation of consoles. Regardless, Australia and the UK were both PAL regions anyway. You'll be fine!

    • +1

Ive bought tons of games from different stores online, for both PS3 and Xbox 360, never had any problems. The worst thing that happened was that sometimes a Pal save wouldn't work on a NTSC game for the PS3 and vise versa, but that was back in the last generation. This generation you literally don't even hear the region of a game, because it just works.

  • Anyone gotten theirs yet?

    • Yup just got mine today!
