When you say stock up on inventory, is that inventory for you to use running the store, or are you planning on reselling the items? CostCo would be a good option for the former, but the margins would be that great if you want to resell, better off approaching wholesalers with your ABN etc

Contact the wholesalers/distributors of the products you want to sell. The people you contact should be able help you with a lot of data regarding the markets you are entering and what you need to stock and how much. You should really do a comprehensive business plan and you wouldn't have to ask these questions.
This. Sounds like you have started the process without knowing how it is all going to work.
Fresh or Free at Woolworths. Return the item and get your money back & another item free. Repeat until store is full.
