Hi I am going to go overseas for 3 months at the end of the year (late Nov), I live in Indooroopilly / Brisbane QLD area, I usually park on the street for short vacation (don't have garage in my house). But this time I would like to find an indoor space to store my car while I am travelling overseas. Anyone have any suggestions? Would $300 for 3 months parking unrealistic? I can park it faraway from where i live and go pick it up once i'm back.

Its not that simple. You need to start and run it to recharge what the starting takes out. It needs to be driven, not just started.
Plus it depends on how good the battery is. Type of car does it have alarms etc, that can drain the battery.
I look after my Brothers car and it can stand for 2 months, then I drive for the day, so it gets a charge to build up the battery again.
So giving advice like you have, could actually make the situation worse.
If it isn't going to be started for 3 months it might be worth putting a trickle charger in to keep the battery fresh. But yes, if it is stated it needs to be run for a decent period of time to be of benefit.

yep there is a shopping plaza near my house about 5 mins walk, pretty sure no charge and restrictions on parking (don't see any signs), with undercover too. so the only problem is security then?

Storage shed. Park it lock it forget about it for 3 months. Disconnect battery, it doesnt need to be run
post on gumtree. But u need to start the car every week or else the battery will go dead.
