Considering the Moto G4+ from Amazon US

Hello everyone,

First time poster, I have a query that I'm hopeful you might be able to assist with. Apologies in advance if I've posted in the wrong section or asked silly questions.

I'm considering buying the Moto 4G+ from Amazon US, on special for $328 AUD. It is the 64GB/4GB RAM version. This seems to be the best price for this variant. Ordering from the US prompts the followimg questions in my mind:

  • Should I exect this to work just the same as if I bought it from an Australian retailer?
  • Does Motorola have an international warranty?
  • If I wanted to proceed, does shipito appear to be the most reputable site for shipping, given that Amazon won't ship directly to Aus?

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

If your willing to pay that much, I'd suggest to wait for those frequent eBay promotions and the prices will be only $10-15 more than you are willing to pay now, however you will at least have the peace of mind for buying local stock in regards to warranty and technical support. Yep so it wait this out for now and choose to get local stock if it is possible. :)

Edit: I just read that it was the 64GB/4GB variant you're after… tbh honest the 32GB variant sold in Aus is sufficient enough for the average user imo… however it's up to you to decide which ones best. Id still suggest to buy local :)
