I have already tried gumtree and ebay thus I am looking for stores around Sydney that would be willing to buy used IT certification books (e.g. MS Server 2012, SQL 2012, PMP, CISSP, etc.)

Unless these text books are still current for subjects, they will be worth very little. I threw most of mine in the bin

Any B+M store is going to have overheads and going to offer to very little for used texts.
