Return agreement for missing in transit

Hi guys

I recently purchased a USB stick on eBay, and unfortunately it has not arrived in the mail.

The seller has been VERY helpful and is happy to give me a refund or resend, on the provision of signing a document and returning it to them saying if the item arrives, I will return it.

I'm a bit apprehensive on doing this, as they already have my full name and address, I'm not sure I want them having my signature as well.

Has anybody dealt with something like this? Or amm I just wearing a tin foil hat?!

Cheers

Just sign it with a "new" signature that you don't use anywhere else. Then it won't be able to be used for identify theft etc. Even just write your name.

      Doh…I'm an idiot

      I'll just make one up!

Just mark an 'X' … it counts

  • Get the refund as soon as possible. Don't delay it even when the seller is being helpful or willing to refund it. Once you exceed that guarantee refund period some sellers do not honour the refund. I was caught out once before because I was being too nice to the seller.
