Just wondering how a pre-order price guarantee refund works with Amazon.
Do they just refund the price difference back onto your credit card?
Another question, if Amazon were to provide a full refund on a purchase would it be at the current USD to AUD exchange rate, or the exchange rate when the purchase was initially made?

They refund the difference.
For pre-orders, your card is not charged until it's actually shipped out. So you'll just be charged the correct price (the cheapest it's been between when you ordered and when it ships).
