HELP! are these batteries same as eneloop rechargables?

i need to replace two batteries from my wahl hair clippers

the batteries look like this

it says 1.2v ni mh 1600mah rechargables

are they just normal rechargables like the eneloops?

it says 160AAH? what does this mean?

  • 1600mah refers to the battery capacity. The larger the number the higher the capacity.
    NiMH refers to the type of battery. And yes, Eneloops are NiMH batteries.

  • I just want to make sure eneloops won't blow the thing up if I charge it using the supplied hair clipper charger

      No Extremely low chance of that happening. NiMH batteries are very safe, especially compared to lithium. Just make sure that, if you're replacing the batteries, replace both of them and not just 1.
