They seem to get good reviews from people who have them, so I took a chance. Retail on most sites is over $200, so if they don't suit me, I don't think I'll have trouble getting my money back. Nice find.

I have had a pair of these for about 15 years they are a very good boot but definitely not not waterproof, they are a snug fit around the calf so your jeans go over the top

Important to note that these do not appear to have any ankle support so they are basically a glorified waterproof 'boot' rather than motorcycle boots. Guess it just depends how much you value your feet in a crash.
