Netflix - Are Downloads Metered ?

Might be a ridiculous question but because I don't have NBN and don't know how it works really. Can someone tell me or give me some info about and if Netflix is metered or unmetered using NBN? The service provider where I am at the moment is Harbour IPS in Coffs Harbour NSW… I don't know much about them either 😕

  I think the answer would depend on your ISP, not the NBN itself.

  I think apart from Optus and Internode, most of the ISP treat Netflix as metered content.

  NBN is just kind of the method of delivery. You get lower latency and higher speed (if you opt-in higher tier of the plan) compared to Telephone copper… The real life situation will be complicated of course (congestion, etc).

  I don't know how you're not getting the NBN in coffs harbour
  its pretty much all NBN the last time I was down there

  Netflix counts towards your usage unless your ISP specifies any different

  TPG I find are the best for Netflix Indexing and rank #1, plus Unlimited data so theres no issue with me streaming netflix

  So do, some don't. If you watch a lot of Netflix then getting one that doesn't can obviously be a good idea. IIRC Skymesh do unmetered, and have a good rep.

  Wouldn't you be best directing the inquiry to your ISP?
