To receive the 1,000 bonus Velocity Points you must activate your Global Wallet® before 23:59 AEST 18 October 2016. The bonus Velocity Points will be allocated to your Velocity Account within six weeks of the end of the promotion period. The bonus Velocity Points will be awarded once, and only to the Velocity member who received this email.

    Can't see any mention about 1,000 bonus points when downloading the app from the Apple App Store - perhaps this is only for Android?!

    Also be careful once you activate the card there's an "Inactive Fee" (Charged monthly after 12 months of inactivity) of $1 per month…

      agreed, I haven't activated this card due to the "Inactive Fee"

      • You can suspend the card to avoid the inactive fee

    • what if you activate, but dont make any deposits, can they still charge this inactivity fee and make your balance go negative?

      i'm guessing not, as it's a prepaid card, but wonder if anyone tried it before
