Vodafone to Kill 2G Network

Vodafone will switch off its 23 year-old 2G network in exactly one year's time to reallocate spectrum to data traffic and reduce the load on its 4G network.

    • With the amount of deal so on the Zenfone, I'm sure OzB has migrated to them… now those phones just lost a feature lol

  • Interesting. If I'm correct, I believe majority of the Dual Sim phone users will have a useless dual sim phone.

    There's only one or two phones that have dual active 3G SIM slots

      I think they mean the reception covers where 22 million people are.

      • That makes more sense. I thought they meant 22 million Australians are on the vodafone network.

        • I wouldn't be surprised if they worded it like that intentionally knowing people would think that.
