Whats Good? Lithium Jump Starter Packs

So my SuperCreap Jump Pack Has saved the bacon form me numerous times over the last 6 years but is getting to the point where its holding less and less charge.
Over this period of time I disabled the low voltage siren which became faulty and disconnected the LED light which was stuck on after bashing around in my boat.

I am really keen to switch across to a Lithium jump pack but with some many options out there I am really chasing recommendations.

Making some comparisons my self there are options in brick and mortar stores such as REPCO etc, however the price points appear to be relatively inflated.
eBay is jammed packed with options, however looking at the comments in previous posts there appears to be a lot of misleading claims made by the retailers.

  • Which unit do you own?
  • How long have you had it?
  • How much did you pay?
  • Your thoughts?
  • Would you buy the same unit if your current unit was lost?
  • Can you help out with a link?

Thank in advance

  • I am on the same boat. It is hard to get a reliable reasonably priced portable Li ion jump starter. I started with the ones which have good reviews in amazon but of course haven't found a reasonably priced one that ships to Oz. The powerall sold in repco seems to have good reviews but is triple the price "RRP". Sale price $200 bucks

    • Thank you for your reply.
Hopefully some one whom has some runs on the board with a unit is able to point us in the right direction.

  • the last 6 years

you got six years from a cheap sca pack. will a li-ion last last 12 years? if not, then why bother? why not stick to something that's works and cheap?

      That is a good question.
The motivating factor for me is portability.
The lead acid jump pack lived in my car and was placed on charge following use if not was charged every 4 weeks (I place all my batteries on charge ever 4 weeks, Dirt Bike battery, prawning light battery, Jump Pack etc)
I head out to Sea fairly regularly with my boat and the jump pack gets taken as a precaution.
Carting a lead acid jump pack around has its own draw backs.
In going to a Lithium pack it can then live in the glove box and will be far easier to store when out in the boat.
Besides the above points I would already have purchased a direct replacement.
