Long expiry prepaid sims? (Ph number holding)

Hi

I want to keep my phone number and need to park it somewhere for up to 2 yrs. does anyone know what the cheapest solutions are? Aldi prepaid has 365 days expiry in their prepaid sims. Im not sure if i can just buy the sim or if i have to have at least have their minimum $15 recharge credit. Any other options out there?

Bonus if i can do everything online (like extending expiry by recharging) without actually having to handle the sim or be in Aus

Cheers

  • Check amaysim prepaid as it comes with 365 days expiry.

    • Or Amaysim postpaid with non contract, just need a valid credit card on the account.

  • +1

Aldimobile sim comes with $5 credit that has 365 days until expiry

    • Do i need to just buy the sim ($5) or sim and a recharge? ($5+15)

      • +2

        Just SIM.

  • Vodafone PAYG plus…$20 valid for a year

  • Basically saying that referrals exist made it get removed even without giving a referral link. Okay around 2:

Yomojo has a $2 SIM with a $20 security deposit. You get back the $20 security deposit once you leave them (assuming they don't do a TPG and change it to a prepayment). So technically $2 for an unlimited time for the company to hold your number assuming they don't go kaboom (again) and no one wanting to pick up the customers.
