    I contacted them last week in regards to this offer. I couldn't redeem mine and it came up with a payment error. Turns out that I had previously redeemed the offer…..in 2012. Had a laugh at that one.

    Yep, this is pretty much the free trial that comes up when you first turn on a new Xbox or add a new account, whichever. More of a PSA than a bargain.

      It's different in that it works for existing subscribers of XBL Gold.

        Doesn't work for me and the only trial I have ever used for XBL is the one month trial that pops up when I first set up my XB1?

      Jesus, did you even bother to read the post? The point of this post was more geared towards people already subscribed to XBL who can get a free month, which is NOT known for a few years… I have used the free month before and have just today received an extra month because of this offer.

    PS. The offer is now over, seems like they caught on and fixed it, which just goes to show this isn't the norm.
