We have a Westfield eftpos giftcard, but we don't want to drive to a Westfield to do the (grocery) shopping. I am wondering if i can use the card in a retailer that is NOT in a Westfield, say a local Woolworths? I know it is a Westfild Giftcard, but it is an eftpos card. I guess this giftcard may not work like a Woolworth wish gift card which can only be used in Wwoolworth group. as an eftpos card, maybe i can use it anywhere eftpos is accepted (which literally almost anywhere), or not?

sounds like you are in luck and can use it almost wherever (unless the retailer refuses, but if you don't ask them specifically and just request to put it on your EFTPOS card, then it should work).

Firstly, you mentioned not wanting to drive to Westfield for your grocery shopping - may I respectfully suggest you are missing the point of (a) a gift card and (b) Westfield Shopping Towns?
Westfield are big regional shopping centres, I don't go there for my standard groceries either. However to spend your gift card you don't have to go there every day, its a special trip sometime before it expires. My two cents, enjoy a gift card, i.e. go to a Westfield to buy something for yourself to enjoy from a specialty or department store like homewares, jewellery, shoes, or clothes (as a gift from the person who gave you the card) - People who give you gift cards wouldn't want to hear that you spent it on your weekly grocery shopping for toilet rolls, milk, and packets of chips (or whatever!)!
Secondly, did you try looking at their website?
It seems there are two cards, the normal one accepted at 8000 stores in Westfields even with map of where you can shop:

Thanks. I was not aware that "westfield xs gift card" is different from "westfield gift card". i only read the first paragraph upon my research.
