Mobile Phone Contracts - Post Paid

Just wondering how many people sign up to post paid contracts these days, especially for bargain hunters like yourselves.

So what is your current preference with your mobile phone access?

Prepaid: why would I pay 100-200% more for a service I'm locked into? Contracts are for people who are either very wealthy (they can afford to pay extra to be lazy) or idiots with money. I suspect most contract users fall into the latter camp.

  • I have 24 months post paid contract, however the business I work for pays for it.

  • Month to month post paid is the preference, because if a better deal comes out you can easily change.

That being said, I've been with the same provider for over 3 years now.

  • I go post-paid contract with the most expensive handset I can get - usually an iPhone. Then I sell it off and get another phone.

The fixed contract costs go towards my tax deduction and the cost of my new phone is also depreciated.

    Treading the line, I know.

Used to be on month to month plan, now on prepaid thanks to Ozbargain :) Works out to be $120 per year and Iphone 6s 128gb from "straight" sugar daddy :)

    • What inclusions do you get for $120?

Works out to be $10 a month switching prepaid sims. Unlimited calls/SMS usually around 1gb-3gb

        • What's your plan or who's your carrier?

I am looking at vaya but considering and researching my options.

        • @AlienC:

Just wait for those prepaid only sim deals for around $10 for value of $30.

  • Users still show commitment via flagship- repayment deals; or accepted a company fringe benefit, not paid out of pocket; long termers. Deal jumpers avoid some wait, often switch off to the horrible inducement that's in the access- useless channels of redundant bloat.

Pre-paid shal be paid at a fraction, mix-n-matched. (Dual-sim stacking)
