I bought a GoPro Hero5 from the recent Good Guys sale on eBay.
I'm just wondering if it's possible to get a GST refund via the TRS when I fly out of the country?
I'm not sure which receipt I should use. I don't think I got an official "tax invoice" for it showing GST paid.
Just get in touch with the Good guys store who completed your order - you should still get a Tax Invoice. I recently purchased a fridge on ebay and they handed me a tax invoice with GST etc..

it definitely says "Includes GST $100.81 at the bottom (I bought 2)

Was hoping it would come with a receipt, hence the concern when it didn't. The invoice they emailed me earlier doesn't have GST, so I guess I'll go back and ask them again. Thanks for the help.
Just email the store the docket number requesting a copy of the invoice.
I bought a mobile phone from mobileciti on ebay and I got the invoice with GST etc when the mobile is delivered. Have you received the package yet?
Thanks, all! Two calls later I managed to get the correct receipt from the store. For some reason the first one they sent had $0 GST.
Interestingly, the invoice is for the full non-discounted price, so I should get a little more in the refund than I expected!

A tax invoice has the word ‘tax invoice’ on it and shows the business name and Australian Business Number (ABN) of the retailer, the purchase price including the GST and/or WET paid, a description of the goods and the date you purchased the goods. For tax invoices over $1,000, the tax invoice must also show your name and address.
